• The details: Eight hundred plants (15 types) are grown to make soaps, sachets, culinary lavender, hydrosol and linen spray, and satin-wrapped wands. Everything is handmade by Grandview Heights native Deborah (DeMuth) Davis, who has been a Montana resident with husband Gregg since 1993. In 2004, the couple began their Lakeside, Mont., lavender farm.
